Construction Work on J Street

Beginning Monday, June 25, J Street from 19th through 30th streets will undergo a street repaving and redesign. Construction will include lane closures on weekdays that may cause traffic to back up on J Street affecting the Flyer Shuttle.

Construction is anticipated to last until August 10 and will result in the conversion of J Street from a three-lane thoroughfare to a two-lane street with a parking-protected bike lane and improved pedestrian crossings.
