May is Bike Month: Take Three

We hope you've been riding your bike and logging your trips and miles. If you haven't yet, it's not too late!

Go to May is Bike Month to get started or to continue logging. We hope you've enjoyed jumping on that bike and will keep peddling after May.

Artistic Message

Students from Natomas Charter School's Performing Fine Arts Academy (PFAA), used their talents to spread the May is Bike Month message on the big book in front of the North Natomas Library. The bright display couldn't be missed as you drove down Del Paso Road. Nice job artists!

Verizon Employee Gets New Bike!

An employee at Verizon in the Sacramento Gateway Shopping Center is the proud owner of a new bike.
De'Antoine Learson attended Jibe's Bike Doc event in the shopping center and won the bike in a random drawing. The event is part of a partnership between Jibe and Sacramento Gateway Shopping Center to highlight Jibe's unique programs and services for employers and employees in the complex.

Bike Doc at Park Place

Employees that work in the Park Place Shopping Center in North Natomas had a chance to get their bikes fixed for free. Bike Doc set up shop to make it easy for employees to stop by during a break or lunch. The community also got in on the action. More than 50 bikes were repaired!

School Pledges

Students at 12 North Natomas schools have pledged to log trips they will ride in May. Riding is a way of life for many of these students who bike to school every day. Other students ride for recreation but are giving their school commute a try.
A pledge wall is up at each campus for students to share their goals.
