Another Round of Car Free Saturdays!

Last month, North Natoman diners that biked or walked to their Saturday meals received a $15 gift card from Jibe restaurant partners Bella Bru, Logan's Roadhouse, Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop, Casa Ramos, Jack's Urban Eats, and Beach Hut Deli. Our partners were pleased with this promotion because it resulted in new customers and was easy to implement. Also, according to messages and social media buzz, customers loved getting rewarded for leaving their car at home!

Jibe is pleased to offer Car Free Saturdays every Saturday in October. Follow us on Facebook to find out which restaurants are participating this time!

New Program for Mature Adults, 50+!

Jibe and AARP Sacramento are partnering up on a series of free online classes covering fitness, bike education, simple maintenance, and insider tips on trails and amenities. For mature adults, 50+, who live or work in North Natomas, participants earn a bicycle basics kit including helmet, repair supplies, maps, and other goodies. Visit our website for more information on this great program!

Jibe is accepting applications for the new program, Better on Bikes, until October 4.

We Heart Student Art

Jibe has been busy collecting student art submissions from area schools H. Allen Hight Elementary, Natomas Park Elementary, Paso Verde School, Star Academy, and Witter Ranch Elementary. Soon, fences surrounding these schools will be decorated with banners featuring selected student submissions that have been converted to 4'x5' banners.

Plan on getting out and enjoying a fun walk or bike ride next month to view these student art pieces. Catch this installation while you can!

Are Your Kids Ready To Rock Walktober?

Jibe's Walktober is back with more ways for students to participate!

  • Bikers and Walkers: Join the Jibe Student Challenge to track your walking and biking, and challenge friends.
  • Puzzle Enthusiasts: Complete 9 challenges to unlock letters for your Walktober Passport. Once you've unlocked your letters, unscramble them to uncover the mystery word.
  • Wordworms: Submit stories, poems, or essays about walking and biking to The Write Way.

Participate in these fun opportunities to have a happy Walktober!

Thanks for Riding Jibe Express!

As a special reward, Jibe will offer gift cards from local restaurants to all Jibe Express riders this month. Interested riders should look for our posted fliers and scan the access code to upload a photo, their name, and mailing address. Once we have the pic and mailing address, Jibe will send riders the restaurant gift card of their choice. With safety measures in place, reconfigured routes, and now local rewards, there's never been a better time to hop on board Jibe Express.

See our posted flier on Jibe Express for details!

Contactless Helmet Sale

Mark your calendars! Jibe is holding a contactless helmet sale event on October 3. Brand new, certified helmets for adults and children will sell for $5 each at the North Natomas Farmer's Market. To expedite your purchase, please measure your head in advance. If you prefer, we will have handy tools available to help determine your size. For tips on helmet fitting, check out this video from our friends at 50 Corridor TMA!

Helmets are available while supplies last.
