Saddle Up Saturdays Starts October 2
Here's the new deal. North Natomas cyclists choose how far they would like to go when they bike to any restaurant in the Jibe service area. They spend at least $10 on their meal, complete the submission form (which requires photo proof of $10 purchase and photo proof that the cyclist biked to the restaurant) and receive a $15 gift card to that restaurant, or an alternate, if the restaurant they are visiting does not offer gift cards. Free SmaRT Rides in the Natomas - North Sac Zone
Similar to services such as Uber and Lyft, SmaRT Ride is a ride share service that operates on-demand with flexible routing and scheduling. The community shuttle provides corner-to-corner service, picking up passengers and dropping them off anywhere within the Natomas - North Sacramento service zone. Recognizing that clean air goes hand-in-hand with Jibe's values of sustainability and livability, we're pleased to be celebrating California Clean Air Day all throughout the month of October. We've entered into a series of commitments with local businesses, schools, and community groups in which our partners agreed to join us in taking simple steps that can lead to big changes for the air we all breathe. Everyone's invited to climb aboard our campaign for cleaner air! Start by taking the California Clean Air Pledge in October. Pick the pledge that works for you:
By now you may have heard about Jibe's newest promotion for bicycling riding food lovers, Saddle Up Saturdays. Modeled after Car-Free Saturdays, this new program is tweaked based on loads of feedback we received from participants and restaurants during Car Free Saturdays in 2020 and 2021.
In honor of California Clean Air Day (err, month) Jibe is paying for ALL rides on SmaRT Ride taken in the Natomas - North Sacramento zone during October 2021.
Jibe is hosting another Better on Bikes training program for older adults aged 50+. Students will refresh their confidence and skills via an online bicycle training course taught by an experienced cyclist. Registrants will also gain the opportunity to connect with a like-minded community of bicycle enthusiasts while earning fun bike swag in the process. While spots are available now, they are being filled on a first-come, first-served basis and won't last long.
