Go For Gold Olympic Challenge

Join Jibe in its Olympic quest for better trail navigation by entering our Go For Navigation Gold contest!

Jibe recently installed new signs on the northern portion of Fisherman's Lake Parkway and Red Bud Trail. We invite winter adventure seekers from North Natomas to seek out signs, snap selfies with them - 1 from each trail (Jackrabbit Trail, Fisherman's Lake Parkway and Redbud Trail), and send them our way for fun prizes!

While not quite an Olympian feat, trail signs instill a sense of place and let users know where they are in the North Natomas bikeway system.

Passing the torch to you - we urge you to go for navigation gold! Email your three selfies to us at info@jibe.org, or post them to Instagram or Facebook with #jibewithus. All entrants will win a handy bike light and tire patch kit, and three lucky winners will be drawn at random to win a beautiful 26 ounce insulated water bottle!

Check our website for details. Entries due by February 20!

Attention All Business Owners!

Jibe's Transportation Improvement Grant program makes it easy for North Natomas businesses, their employees, and their customers to leave their cars at home! Funds can be used to reduce single occupancy car trips, augment work from home operations, and then some.

Applying for a grant is easy. Here's how!

Banners Worth A Walk

Student art promoting walking, biking, scooting, and hopping on school buses is now on display at elementary schools throughout North Natomas. Banners adorn fences outside schools and are positioned for optimal viewing by cyclists and pedestrians. Lace up those walking shoes, neighbors! We'll see you out there.

Who Walks In Winter? We Do!

Winter walks to school get a warmup from Jibe's Winter Walker Raffle. Five lucky student participants will win their choice of a scooter, skateboard, roller skates, or Lego set.

To be eligible, students must have their Trip Scanner card scanned at least 10 times in January or February. Need a Trip Scanner card or more information? Connect with your Parent Champion via email or at school. Parent Champions can always be found on campus -- look for their orange Jibe aprons.

Why Drive When It's Easier To Park-And-Ride?

Whether heading to downtown Sacramento every day or just on occasion, North Natomas commuters can make good use of Regional Transit's Route 11. Buses run every 30 minutes during peak commute times, and every 45 minutes mid-day and weekends. Further, North Natomas has a handy park-and-ride conveniently located at the Natomas Marketplace shopping center, adjacent to Ross Dress For Less. Avoid parking fees, I-5 gridlock, and stress - hop on Route 11 and get gone.

Questions about riding the bus in general or Route 11 in particular? Visit our website!

County Parks Permits Now Available at Jibe

North Natomans seeking access to all parks in the Sacramento County Regional Parks system can now purchase their annual pass conveniently at Jibe! Valid for one year from date of purchase, there are two types of passes available: Vehicle Passes ($50) and Motorized Vessel/RV ($100)

Annual parks passes allow for entry into all parks of the Sacramento County Park system and are a great way to support our county parks system.

Call Jibe at 916-419-9955 before coming to the office on Del Paso Blvd to purchase a pass, since staff are sometimes working from home.
