Kids' Bike Party

A wheelie fun time will be had by all at our Kids' Bike Party April 25, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the North Natomas Regional Park! Kick off the fun with a family-friendly Jibe led 4-mile ride through Natomas Regional Park, Redbud Trail, and on neighborhood streets. Signed waivers and helmets required. Ride check-in starts at 5:30 PM, and ride rolls out promptly at 5:45 PM.

For littles not able to join the ride, Jibe will offer Freedom From Training Wheels -- balance bike riding for pre-k riders.

All partygoers can purchase a new helmet for $5.

Post ride activities also include a yummy pizza party and beats from rising star DJ Eve.

We hope to see all our party people there!

2022 Bike Doc Schedule Released

The 2022 schedule for Jibe's free basic bike repair and tune up service is now available online! View the calendar, and when event links are activated, reserve a spot.

No appointment, no problem! New for 2022, in addition to appointments, each scheduled Bike Doc event will also have a limited number of walk-ups available.

As always, issues not fixable in the repair window are referred to a bike shop for in-depth service.

Registration is activated when listed events are clickable -- usually two weeks before the event is scheduled to take place.

Let's Bike Around The Buttes

Team Good Jibes welcomes you to join us for Bike Around The Buttes, a one-day bike ride in South Yuba City on Saturday, April 23. Routes include 20, 40, 65 and 100 mile rides along the Sacramento River and around the beautiful Sutter Buttes. Experience rolling hills and long stretches of pastoral countryside. After the ride, mix and mingle with fellow cyclists over beer and a finish line meal. Registration starts at $40. All funds raised benefit Lions Health Foundation diabetes programs.

How To Deal With Soaring Gas Prices

If the high price of gas is getting you low, why not try:

*Walking or biking to errands and dining out: Map your way to shopping or dining at local restaurants and mobile food events at Valley Oak Park or other points around town.

*Active transportation to work: Jibe offers programs that support car-free or car-light work travel, including Emergency Ride Home and Transportation Improvement Grants.

*Public transportation: Keep more fuel in your tank by utilizing the three Sacramento Regional Transit bus lines and on-demand ride share service currently running in North Natomas. Walking, using a park and ride, or riding your bike can be an easy way to access these low-cost transportation options.

*Participating in Jibe's Walk to School Program: Avoid the dreaded drop off line while saving money and pursuing healthy transportation habits.
