Transit Renewal

RT is seeking comments regarding their TransitRenewal draft service plan. This five-year plan outlines recommended bus and light rail improvements for future transit service in the Sacramento region. The first set of improvements is anticipated to be implemented in September 2012.  They need to hear from you!

Please take a moment to complete the short survey HERE.  Also, you can comment at the public hearing on Monday, March 26th at 6pm, RT Auditorium, 1400 29th Street.

Here’s a quick summary of how those draft changes affect North Natomas:

• Route 11
  • Increasing service in September 2012 – to include later hours (7pm) and Saturday service.
  • Increasing service in September 2013 to include Sundays.
  • Possible Route 11 alignment shift in 2014. You can see the draft map here.

• Route 14
  • Route 14 will be eliminated in September 2012.
  • There is some duplication of this Route 14 by Route 13. The draft map is available here.
