We are thankful for our volunteers. We are happy to say that over half of the bike building teams are full! If you have not already registered your team for 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2014 please do so soon. Register a bike building team. |

Mark your calendars. Want to get a little practice with a wrench before the big day? Bike building trainings have been scheduled! Bike building trainings are not mandatory, however, they will be helpful by demonstrating the basic mechanics of assembling a bicycle. Not everyone from the team needs to attend, just a representative is suggested; however, anyone who wants to attend is more than welcome. Please RSVP to abbey@nntma.org for the training you plan on attending. Each training will last approximately 1 hour. These trainings will be located at the North Natomas Library (4660 Via Ingoglia, Sacramento, CA 95835). Tuesday, January 14th, 3pm Wednesday, January 15th, 5pm Thursday, January 16th, 6:30pm |

We asked, and boy did North Natomas answer! Adults from all around North Natomas heard the cry and answered with an astounding "YES! We do know inspiring youth!" We asked for nominations of local youth that inspire you, based on six Content of Character Traits: trustworthiness, respect, fairness, caring, citizenship, and responsibility. The response was fantastic. There were some amazing and powerful stories of local kids who are truly making a difference in this community submitted. Stay tuned to The Natomas Buzz in early December for the complete list of bike recipients. We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone that nominated, or encouraged others to nominate, a youth for 50 Bikes for 50 Kids.
