We Now Accept Credit Cards!

It’s here, the moment you’ve been waiting for! You can now get in and out of our office with the swipe of your card, and without the old fashioned methods of cash or check. We now accept credit and debit cards as a form of payment in the office. Visa, Mastercard and Amex are all acceptable, and, of course, so are cash and checks. Plus, you can also opt for a paper receipt or go green with an email receipt. So many options! For more information, or if you have questions, email Ryan or call 419-9955.

Bikes & Minions

Say “Hello!” to spring – and your community – with a bike ride to the North Natomas Regional Park for Bike Valet + Movie in the Park, in honor of Little League Opening Day.  The Office of Mayor Pro Tem Angelique Ashby will be showing Despicable Me 2 on Saturday, March 22nd at 7:30 p.m.  The FREE Bike Valet will open at 6:30 p.m.

Want to make the most of your two-wheeling adventure? Here are some tips:

1. Bring a blanket, chairs or even an air mattress.
2. Free popcorn and water will be available.
3. Say “hello” to your lawn neighbors.
4. Make sure you ride safely (bike lights, helmets, etc.)
5. Tip your bike valet with a SMILE!

Bike Rebate Countdown

Have you submitted your Bike Rebate application yet? Our Bike Rebate program is designed to reduce vehicle trips in our community. The program offers a rebate up to 40% of the purchase price, the equivalent of $250 for bikes, or $50 for accessories. Since this is a first-come first-serve offering, the sooner you apply, the greater your chances are of receiving a rebate. Rebates will only be issued on bikes purchased at local bike shops and your last day to submit a request for a rebate is April 15th.  So, get your written quote from a bike shop today to include with your application. Go here for more information, and good luck.

One of the requirements for receiving a rebate is attending one of our free Bike Clinics. These clinics are open to the public and taught by a certified League of American Bicyclists instructor. All three clinics are held at the North Natomas Library Community Room, 4660 Via Ingoglia at the following times:
• Thursday, March 20th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 16th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 13th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Let the Games Begin…

Eyes up, pencils down. This is not a test…it’s BINGO: Flyer-style! Now through Friday, March 28th, BINGO is in effect.  On each morning and afternoon during the week, we will post a new number to check against your card. All you have to do to win is register, ride, and match five numbers on your card – up, down, or diagonally.

The first five players to get “BINGO” win a prize! Here are some more details: BINGO numbers are only posted on the shuttle (not online or social media) so you must ride to play. Register to receive your BINGO card today. It's not too late to join the fun!

Submit a picture of your winning BINGO card one of four ways:
Twitter: Post to @NorthNatomasTMA with #flyerbingo
Facebook: Post to the North Natomas TMA Facebook page
Instagram: Upload to your Instagram account and tag @nntma
E-mail: Send a photo of your winning card to Ryan@nntma.org

Keep In Touch Via: YouTube

Part of our core mission and reason for existence here at the NNTMA is to be fully engaged and involved in our community, and to seek feedback from North Natomas residents and employees, including you! Each month we will be highlighting a different way you can stay connected to us.

This month, we talk about YouTube. One of the oldest social media channels around, YouTube has an astonishing 800 million monthly visitors and 4 billion hours of view time per month. We are contributing to those jaw-dropping figures with our #goTOGETHER series that features the programs closest to our hearts. These included video shorts on our Walk to School, Flyer Shuttle, Neighborhood Bike Rides and Bike Doc campaigns. Subscribe to the North Natomas TMA YouTube channel to be the first to know of new installments.  You get entertainment, education and inspiration all in one swoop!
