Busy Downtown Will Cause Delays We ask Shuttle Flyer riders to be patient and utilize the RT Tracker service, along with its text/email alerts, to stay informed of any delays due to heavy traffic in the downtown core. RT Dispatch Hotline: 556-0259 Riders can also stay in the know with the Sacramento Convention Center & Visitors Bureau's online calendar of events taking place in the Memorial Auditorium and the Convention Center. |

Connect Card is Coming! Regional Transit is currently in the midst of the Connect Transit Card pilot program. During the month of May, a select number of RT riders have volunteered to test the Connect Card on bus and light rail routes. Once the pilot program is complete on May 31st, riders will provide feedback via surveys to enable RT to make improvements to the system before the rollout. The Connect Card rollout is tentatively scheduled for late summer, and the Natomas Flyer Shuttle is excited to announce it will be part of this modernization. Stay tuned for updates and announcements as they become available. Details about the Flyer Shuttle's participation in the program will be announced via the NNTMA website, e-newsletters, and print materials in the coming weeks. Please, do not hesitate to call or email with any questions. For more information about the Connect Card system visit this website. |

Sports Complex Update - Bus Stops The expected approval at tonight's City Council meeting of the Entertainment Sports Complex will bring a number of changes for the downtown area, including adjustments and improvements to bus stops. The expansion and improvement of the 9th & L St stop for all transit providers will be the first in a series that will impact the Flyer Shuttle service. We will continue to stop at the 9th & L St stop, but construction will make things messy and slow during the improvements. When completed, we ask that all riders wait near the bus stop sign until the shuttle arrives. All transit using that stop will pull as far forward as possible and riders will need to walk to their shuttle once it has stopped in the queue.

I-5 Construction Caltrans has begun work to rehabilitate bridge decks on Interstate 5. Crews have begun work on a stretch of I-5 from K Street to just south of Richards Boulevard. Traffic-interfering work will be limited to nights and weekends. Although the Natomas Flyer does not expect service delays due to this project, we will continue to monitor the progress. |
