Ready to build ANOTHER bike?

50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2014 was a wonderful success due to the 200+ volunteers that took time out of their busy day to give back to this community.  As we gear up for the 2015 event, we would like to invite past volunteers to again join us to help local youth build bicycles.  Due to the limited number of volunteer spots, we would like to offer the opportunity to past volunteers first, before we do a public call for volunteers.

We hope you will join us on Monday, January 19, 2015 for the 3rd annual 50 Bikes for 50 Kids event!

Volunteers can register online at NNTMA.org/50Bikes.

New for 2015

After 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2014, we asked our volunteers to share with us their ideas on how to improve the event to make it even better. Oh boy, did you all have some great and BIG ideas.

We are very excited to announce the inclusion of a skills course for the bike recipients after they have completed building their bike.  This area will enable the youth to practice some handling skills with their new ride, as well as receive some basic bike safety instruction.

This fun, interactive addition is sure to be the exclamation point on the day!

Also new this year, the registration area volunteers and finish area volunteers will be one in the same. In an attempt to reduce the amount of down time for volunteers, some tasks have been consolidated. For more information about the volunteer roles and responsibilities contact Abbey at 419-9955 or abbey@nntma.org.

You can FUND this epic ride!

Donations are a vital aspect of 50 Bikes for 50 Kids and without bike sponsors, we wouldn’t have an event. Bike sponsors help play a role in changing kids’ lives and support the volunteers’ efforts to empower youth with opportunities to better their future.

For more information about donating to this event visit NNTMA.org/50Bikes, or contact Abbey Harding at abbey@nntma.org, 419-9955.
