'Tis the Season

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through Natomas, people were marking their calendars for Flyer Shuttle holidays and closures.

The NNTMA office will be closed and the shuttle will NOT run:

  • Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2015

  • New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1, 2016

In addition, the NNTMA office will also be closed:

  • Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2015

New Shuttle Times Effective January 2016

Flyer Shuttle schedule adjustments are set to go into effect on January 3, 2016. The North Natomas and downtown routes will remain the same, however, some adjustments have been made to the schedule. Be sure to review new schedule times to ensure a smooth commute in the new year.

View schedules here.

Wondering what those little dashes are?

We will not be removing any stops whatsoever. The dashes simply mean that we did not assign a time point for that stop. Riders will need to arrive at their stop within the time frame between the time point of the stop before and the stop after.

We did this to align ourselves more closely with transit standards and to help us stay on time.

Meet the #50Bikes2016 Bike Recipients

Beth Mahony and Danielle Marshall read and review the nominations.

The North Natomas TMA is pleased to announce the 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2016 bike recipients.

Kids between the ages of 9-17, living or attending school in North Natomas, were nominated by local leaders for demonstrating traits including trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. A volunteer committee read and reviewed many, many nominations to select fifty students who will join volunteers on January 18, 2016, to build their very own brand-new bicycle.

50 Bikes for 50 Kids is designed to teach kids the value of hard work, community, and volunteerism while introducing them to the benefits of bicycling. Volunteers and sponsors are still needed for this volunteer-based event.

Visit NNTMA.org/50Bikes to sign up today.

Meet this year’s bike recipients by reading what makes these kids so special, as told by the adults that nominated them.

Park & Ride Is Available in North Natomas in 2016

Park-and-Ride service to downtown Sacramento is here! Fifty parking spots are specially marked at the southbound Truxel Road & Gateway Park Boulevard bus stop located in front of Ross Dress for Less. Instead of navigating the busy traffic in your car, leave it behind and hop on either the Eastside Flyer Shuttle or Regional Transit's Route 11.
