Ready for a Little Wrench Practice?

Bike building trainings have been scheduled!

Bike building trainings are not mandatory, however, they are very helpful to volunteers interested in the basic mechanics of assembling a bicycle. Not everyone from the team needs to attend, just a representative is suggested; however, anyone who wants to attend is more than welcome.

Please RSVP to abbey@nntma.org for the training you plan to attend. Each training will last 75-90 minutes. Trainings will be held at the North Natomas TMA office (1918 Del Paso Rd, Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95834).

Meet Fifty Kids Ready to Build a New Bike

We are very pleased to announce the 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2017 bike recipients!

Kids in 5th through 12th grades, living or attending school in North Natomas, were nominated by local leaders for demonstrating traits including trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. A volunteer committee read and reviewed many, many nominations to select fifty students who will join volunteers on January 16, 2017, to build their very own brand-new bicycle.

Meet this year's bike recipients.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to Dan Trescott (AIM Mail Center), John Buchanan (Natomas Bike Shop) and Patti Hoffman (North Natomas Resident) who volunteered their time to sit on this year's Selection Committee.

Thank You to the Sponsors Who Make the Tires Turn

We want to take a moment to thank the individuals and businesses who have donated to 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2017. Generous donors are vital to the success of this event.

    Wanna Build a Bike?

The youth are selected, the bikes are sponsored and the date is set - now we just need a few more volunteers to round it all out.

The question is: are you ready to wrench? Why not be a part of making your community better and donate a little of your time? There are several openings still up for grabs including bike building, set-up and more.
