We're Thankful For Our Volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of 50 Bikes for 50 Kids. So, during this week of giving thanks...we thank you - those who have volunteered in the past and those who will volunteer in the future. Thank you for taking the time to mentor, sort shirts, fit helmets, smile, ring bells, breakdown cardboard, laugh, unload trucks, teach, wrench and cheer. Our community is greater because you are in it, making a difference.

We still need volunteers for 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2018. Please consider spending what time you can with us on Martin Luther King Jr Day, a National Day of Service. We hope you will join us Monday, January 15, 2018 for the 6th annual event.

Hello Selection Committee!

Special thanks to our Selection Committee who took the time to read, sort, and discuss this year's crop of nominations. There are truly some amazing young citizens of North Natomas doing a wide range of good for this community. We should be proud to have them amongst us.

Patti Hoffman (NNTMA Board of Directors), John Buchanan (Natomas Bike Shop), and Dan Trescott (AIM Mail Center) all donated their time to select the bike recipients for 50 Bikes for 50 Kids 2018.

Ready For A Little Wrench Practice?

Bike building trainings have been scheduled!

Bike building trainings are not mandatory, however, they are very helpful to volunteers interested in the basic mechanics of assembling a bicycle. Not everyone from the team needs to attend, just a representative is suggested; however, anyone who wants to attend is more than welcome.

Please RSVP to abbey@nntma.org for the training you plan to attend. Each training will last 75-90 minutes. Trainings will be held at the North Natomas TMA office (1918 Del Paso Rd, Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95834).
